Non-Sporting Dog Group
The non-sporting dog group includes dogs that, for whatever reason, do not fall into a specific group. These dogs are diverse and all have different personalities, sizes, and health dispositions. For the size they range from the small Bichon Frise to the agressive chow and the loveable Dalmation.
These dogs were formerly bread for hunting or working. For example, the Poodle was originally a hunting dog. Also, the Tibetan Spaniel was bread as a guard dog. They protected the docile Tibetanmonks But, now they are primarilly companion and/or watchdogs.
