The decision to adopt a dog should not be taken likely.  After all, you are making a decision that will last for the lifetime of your chosen family member.  Dog ownership comes with great responsibility.  That is why I am hoping that this guide will help you make the decision of getting a dog easier for you.  After all, certain dog breeds are not compatible with certain lifestyles.

Yellow Labrador

For example, If you have cat you should not get a Greyhound.  Greyhounds, who are bred to chase, and will likely run after your cat and try to kill it.  Additionally, certain dogs, even if those dogs are small,  do not belong  in an apartment.

“Do you remember Eddie on Frasier?”  That dog was so cute and docile on that show.  However, Jack Russel Terrier’s are an active dog that needs constant attention.If you leave them along in apartment building it is likely that they will tear up your apartment.

Certain dogs are harder to train.  So, if you are new to dog ownership it may be wise to choose a pet that is easier to train.

Do you have allergies?  Certain dogs are good for people with allergies.

Above all, I am hoping this guide  which  give you a rough guideline of the various characteristics of dog ownership, dog breeding and everything else about dogs.
