Pitbull – Are They Just Misunderstood?

The pitbull is perhaps the worlds most controversial dog. You here numerous stories of pitbull’s attacking family member unprovoked. Also, you hear stories of pitbull’s being vicious dogs that are bred for for one thing-killing.

However, many owners of pitbulls will testify to the breeds loyalty and superb companionship.  After all, Petey,  the dog on “The Little Rascals” was a pitbull.

Granted, it is true that all dogs bite; but, would you rather be bitten by a poodle or a pitbull?  Personally, it all boils down to the age old argument of “Nature vs. Nurture.” Is it the the dog itself or the owners? I am not going to begin to try to solve this conondrum in the brief post.
